Happy Feast Day, Saint Joseph

Today the monks were getting ready for the celebration of Saint Joseph's feast day tomorrow.

Br. Middledorf is also having his procession tomorrow. He is the monk from Australia. His parents and little brother came all the way from Australia to be here for it. What is really cool is that he thought they wouldn't be coming, but they surprised him by just showing up yesterday.

Anyway, tomorrow is going to be a really cool day. It's even better 'cause we won't have to fast since we're celebrating Saint Joseph's feast day!

That's all for today. I am going to go sleep...or something that doesn't require much effort. My mother put a whole bunch of medicine in me, so I'm going to make it wear off now. ;)

Oh yeah! Ginny's blog is back up...only at a different address-- thebugprincess.blogspot.com

...gee...I wonder *who* could've given her the idea for *that* name...?

Well Tracy, it doesn't seem as though you are having any better luck at getting people to read your blog, or even comment, than I am.

I'm beginning to wonder if Christa is right.... that our blogs really DO have the flu.

I wonder if sheer number of comments will get people interest piqued.... hmmmmm....

spam, spam, spam....

You know Tracy, if you get rid of the w.v. it'll really encourage spam.... and then just think how many comments you'll start getting.
You could practically wear your comments like a badge of honor.

You know what a first class feast day means... right?
It means that you can have the day off your lent resolutions, as well as fasting!!! Yipeeee!!!

Of course, you probably shouldn't unless you intend to go to mass... a slight technicality, easily remedied.

I’ve done a little homework and discovered that the last thing I read on Tracy’s blog was “My Dad”, written on January 11th. I suppose the post was just so depressing that I couldn’t bear to read any more!! Joking- I hope your Father is fully recovered.

So I feel quite small for staying away so long but with the New Year, I thought I’d better make some effort to get a job.
Just to share the context here. I live in a small town. There is no employment and no Broadband nearby. To get on the Internet, I have to use a dial up connection (preferably after 6pm when it’s cheaper) and hog the phone line. Meanwhile, all in sundry decide they want to use the phone so I’m off and on and off and on….. And if someone tries to ring, I get cut off yet the phone call doesn’t come through. It’s a nightmare.
Well, I decided to use the Internet for essentials only i.e. e-mail, and accessing job sites and dirty pictures (joking about the last one!). But I’d like to keep up with the blogs so I’m going to peep in every now and then. However, all of you must start a novena to whoever’s the patron of the Internet so that Broadband will come to Johnville SOON. It’s being installed all over the country but I wish they’d work a little faster.
So, get on your knees, people!
I must read the blog backwards to January.

I hope Br. Middledorf had a nice “procession”???? His family just missed a big cyclone Down Under.

Ps. I’m sorry to discover that so many blogs were assassinated. I’m going to work my way around all the remaining ones soon hopefully.

Tracy, I forgot to tell you, Br. Middledorf is not "Middledorf" It is spelt with a *P* Br. Middledorp.

I meant to tell you that but, I kept forgetting..

Anyway, talk to you all later.

Why does everybody keep saying that they love Ginny?

Unknown said...

Because we Do love Ginny.
Except me. I don't love Ginny anymore. I didn't give her any lemonade the other day AND I asked her to pay me my fifty cents back.
Aren't I mean?
