Merry Christmas

Technically the Christmas season lasts until February 1st--therefore this post isn't late.

John, I saw your comment. ::laughs:: It's good to hear from you again. How's Ireland treating you?

::sigh:: Ooh, my little, dead blog. You need some interesting news to spice up your life. Well, I'm working on it. Perhaps I'll be able to uncover some before too long!

Hi! Good. Thanks.
Give us the news now, Tracy.
Why must you linger to the very last with things?!

Yes, your blog has deteriorated somewhat in the 15 months since it was launched.
All due to fickle human beings. They have no consistency.

On the topic of fickle human beings, I carried out an experiment this year- I didn’t send any Christmas cards.
It’s amazing how many people don’t send Christmas cards unless there are pressurised into it, by receiving one. As expected, I received very few cards.
The conclusion can only be that many people didn’t really wish for me to have a happy Christmas this year or probably on previous years either. They only give to those from whom they receive.
Of course, there are always the few old faithfuls who do give without thought of receiving. Next year, I’ll only be sending to them!

I should note that the above wasn't a hint or dig at anyone on the blog. Just a few thoughts that were going through my head.

Does anyone remember when new posts used to appear on the blogs almost daily and there would be about 30 wonderfully sarcastic comments after each one?

I remember that. Actually, it's quite fun to back to the Archives and re-read them. We were such a hoot back then....

You still haven’t spiced up our lives with this interesting news you were hinting about.
Must we guess?
Okay:
1. Your twins have gone missing.
2. You’re going to reveal what FW is.
3. You no longer like M&Ms in any colour.

Or perhaps it’s more dramatic, like you’re about to announce your engagement.
BINGO.
I’m sure it’s the last option.
