Hi

I'm just waiting for a new post.

From the *other* "CONTRIBUTOR".

But genius requires time.

He says he's still working on it.

Shouldn't be too long now.

Just thought I'd let you all know it's coming up soon.

Kind of like a commercial for a TV show, reminding you that the "next new episode" is coming up.

Only this is different because those things always know exactly when the show will run, and I...well. I'm only the administrator of this blog. Like *I* should know when something will be posted here?

::smiles::

I guess you'll just have to keep checking back.

Funny how these things work.
Hey, let's have everyone finsih this sentence:

"The best things in life are.....?"

Restless Native said...

Okay okay, I'm not sure how to finsih a sentence either.
How about we FINISH the sentence?
Here's some starters:

"The best things in life..."

...Are free.
...Are worth waiting for.
...Merely await a proposal.
...Involve whiskey, cigars, and *ahem*
...can be found on this blog.

Need I go on? I think not.

"The best things in life..."

...are not as good as the best things after death.
...are hard but count for a lot later.
...can be found at Clear Creek.
...are not on sale at WalMart.
...do not involve sin.
...do not perish.
...give glory to God.

A Worm and No Man said...

Oh, and...

"...bring peace to the soul."
"...instill love in the hearts of others."

A Worm and No Man said...

...live in convents and pray for poor priests.

A Worm and No Man said...

...take away the sin of the world.

A Worm and No Man said...

..do not involve kissing frogs.

...are not obtained by FW

"The best things in life..."

...are sought after.
...are not missing question marks.
...know to how use FW.

::laughs:: Christa. ::shakes head::

::tilts head and condsiders while reading Priestling's last comment:: hmmm....

Justin--It would appear that you don't actually *know* what FW is.

::reads comment again:: No. No, I definitely think you don't know what FW really is.

But it's okay. 'Cause you're a guy, and guy's don't need to know.

Dan--I have a question.

Or, rather, a request.

Would you please explain what you meant by your third suggestion for finishing the sentence.

Tracy said...

Oops. I forgot my question mark.

Let's see, barring rejection, what typically happens after a proposal?

I think that Tracy just wanted to force Dan to admit that what he thinks of as being one of the best things in life, actually isn't. I don't REALLY think it is possible that she hasn't been able to at least GUESS what Dan meant.(Anyone who knows Dan, knows how his mind works.)

It really goes to show how different my two brothers are.

Dan enjoys the material aspects of life. Live, Love, Learn.(The hard way)
Justin doesn't even think that life should be enjoyed.(Work, Pray, Your reward will be Heaven)

Is one better than the other??

Maybe a healthy combination of the two........

Disclaimer: Shelley is not saying that either of her brothers only believe one thing or the other. She reserves the right to follow in her.... "example's" footsteps and twist the truth to make her point.

Good grief.

Where did you get YOUR psychology degree, woman?!

Every now and then, Shelley comes shining through. Like a flashlight on the retina of the soul.

Like a lazer beam from a shark's freakin' forehead.

The best thing in life is:
Sleep.
Because one is unaware that there is a life.
